PLEASE NOTE: All volunteers who assisted at the Festival are invited to an appreciation social to be held on Monday, June 26th, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at Parkside Gallery (downstairs). The Annual General Meeting will follow and all are welcome to attend.
We are always looking for new members. You don't have to be a "professional" in the fields of music or speech arts, just have an interest in the young people of our community and the promotion of music and speech arts and be willing to help out wherever you can. Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
The 41st Annual 100 Mile Festival of the Arts is over!! Approximately 400 performers were on stage showing their talents. The adjudicators chose 12 performers to attend the Performing Arts B.C. Competitions as observers, and 7 performers to attend as competitors with 4 alternates. A total of 62 awards were handed out at the Showcase Concert on April 29th, where 27 selections were performed as chosen by the Adjudicators. A special thanks to Ginny-Lou Alexander who stepped up at the last moment to act as Host of the
Showcase in place of Wally Hargrave who was unable to attend because of illness.
Check our Award Recipients page for a complete list of awards.
